An opportunity.

I decided to go with my dad to his chorale program at the temple square and hear them sing. I started reading '1984' while trying not to fall asleep to the softer songs. Afterwards, we walked around the square and looked at the lights. We stopped in Deseret Book, and someone suggested we check out the Gallery stroll in the JS Memorial Building, So we did. "Why not?" said my dad. When we got there, my dad noticed the same painting that was on his chorale program listing, and we started talking to the artist, Jay Bryant Ward. After my dad was talking to him for awhile, stopping to find something out of his bag, the artist, Jay, started staring at me. I'm guessing he saw something in me--probably thanks to the beard--and eventually, he asked me if I would be interested in being a model for one of his paintings. My dad as well. Of course, we said of course. So now, my dad and I have the opportunity to be in one of his paintings. Very cool. Below is his work.
